In the realm of substance use disorder (SUD) and treatment for addiction, non-pharmaceutical interventions beyond counseling and the 12-step program are gaining recognition for their efficacy and holistic approach to recovery. BeatSUD Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to supporting research in this field of non-traditional neuromodulating approaches to supplement usual care (medication, the 12-step program and counseling (1:1, group and family therapy)).

BeatSUD Foundation is committed to funding randomized clinical trials research on adjunctive treatments for SUDs and other brain disorders, and to applying for grants to fund clinical trials and observational studies focused on helping those in recovery achieve and maintain recovery.
To effectively reach their goals, the foundation plans to leverage various strategies advertising at external functions, participating in community outreach programs and events. Utilizing features like integrated social media platforms, event calendars, and donation tracking, the foundation aims to streamline their efforts and maximize the impact of their initiatives.
With their focus on non-pharmaceutical treatments and supporting individuals on their journey to recovery, BeatSUD Foundation is attempting to pave the way for a more comprehensive, individually tailored approach to tackling the treatment of substance use disorder. With their dedication to research, the foundation plans to make significant strides in the fight against addiction.
